Guillermo Carrasquero or “Gluck” is a new media artist born in 1995 in Caracas, Venezuela. Now he currently resides in Berlin, Germany where he is developing his career after graduating from NYU, there he studied Interactive Media and Arts primarily focusing on visual art, virtual and augmented reality, digital fabrication, design, video production and narrative. GLUCK's artistic style is based on the abstraction of reality, creating immersive experiences that are intended to make his audiences feel a diminishing of ego and a sense of oneness.
During these past 5 years he has lived in New York City, Shanghai, Mexico DF, Berlin and Paris, cities that have generated him to see the world through different lenses and allowing to expand his artistic style.
He has worked alongside artists such as Nicola Cruz, Satori and the band from space and world renowned artist Elias Crespin on the production of the a permanent installation at the Musée Du Louvre in Paris. He has worked as a curator for the Lumen Prize in the Modern Art Museum in Shanghai, where he also performed experimental AV shows. In Mexico he got to work with Quarso Multimedia lab where he worked with brands ranging from Adidas to GQ in the production of their interactive designs and installations.
Recently Gluck has been experimenting and researching generative media and data visualization art through new mediums and NFTs.
